ALBERT REDELINGHUYS
Albert Redelinghuys is both a designer and artist. With an academic background in design and interest in all things creative encompassing house, garden and furniture design his move towards painting was a natural progression. His painting is a personal and spiritual experience encompassing life and love within the ancient traditions of Western Art. ´Love and Life´ or even ´Love Life´ is the embodiment of this, the fishes being an early symbol of life and blue signifying divine love.Albert has just recently moved from Irene in Pretoria to the Karoo, where he is currently in the midst of planting ´Maze and Labyrinth´ (with sand olive) on site in Nieu Bethesda. He was born in Hartswater, 1968.
